Holy crap it has been over a year since I have posted anything on our blog!! Honestly, I forgot all about this thing, BUT it is time to get it up and running again for the new year!!

I don't even know where to start but Myles and I are still living together with the crazy pup Bruski who is now 2 years old!! He's growing up so fast :(

Myles is still at EliteTechs and continuing to grow the buisness and still working hard as ever! I am now working as a barber at Lakeside Barber Shop in Acworth and I absolutely love it because I work with great girls in a great environment!

I graduated from Chattahoochee Technical College in December 2010...phew! and Yay!

We are really looking forward to 2011 and hoping it is filled with new adventures and memories!

My next post will likely be more interesting than this one but honestly I don't know what else to put right now. haha. To be continued!..............

Tis the Season?

I really can't believe its already October..but it doesn't feel like it. The weather in GA is so weird; one day it feels like fall and the next it feels like summer all over again and then of course there's the flash floods! geez. I look forward to the holidays every year but it hasn't quite kicked in yet this year. It just seems like there is so much other stuff going on along with school and work and time just seems to be flying by. I wish it would slow down right now because I just want to enjoy this time of year....

Growing Up...

Right now I am 24 years old and I still feel like I have so much growing up to do! But its crazy because it seems like everyone around me is either married, getting married, having kids or have kids....and they are either my age or younger. I know at this age this kind of thing is common but I feel like I am falling behind? I have been with the same great guy for 3 1/2 years as of today..and I hope he will be the one I will marry and spend my life with but there are people that have been together a lot less time than me and are already married and having kids. People ask me all the time when Me and Myles are getting married and now when they find out how long we have been together they say "Well is he every going to ask you?"....how do I answer that??? Sometimes it makes me feel bad because I don't know if that will happen or when it will...but can't it be a suprise?? Its funny because when I was like 18-19 my dad would say Im not getting married til Im 30 and then I can have kids and when I would tell him about other people I knew that were doing that now he just said "as long as its not you"..hah. Well now when I tell him his answer is "Well honey your at the age where things like that start to happen"....guess Im old now! Its just crazy to see friends around me that I would NEVER picture having kids are having them! And its not a bad thing at all....just crazy because I still see them as the goofy friend I hung out with and just acting stupid....now they are grown up! Time really does fly by....

I am so over this summer heat and can not wait for fall. GA weather is so weird...we will have a week where the weather is amazing! Then the next week it shoots up and its hotter than hell again! blah...Im over it. I love GA....but not the bi-polar weather.

Changing the subject....I am sad to hear that Patrick Swayze died. I know he has been fighting cancer for a long time but I was just reading an article he recently did and he said "I am not going to chase staying alive...because then I won't live". What a brave guy....and still smoked til the day he died...wow.

Anywho... 2 1/2 weeks off from school and Im so happy. I made an A in my summer class which means for the last year I have been in school I have made straight A's! And not to toot my own horn...but I feel very proud to say that! Now with this time off from school I am going to catch up on much needed house work and organization!

On a sadder not...I am really starting to not enjoy my job anymore. It seems like things are changing more and more and its taking the fun out of work. I know it can't all be fun but its becoming all about money with no concern for the stylist who do the work. I am also getting really tired of having to work every Saturday...I think I am the only person out of all my friends that works Saturdays and its starting to suck because everything goes on on the weekends!

Anywho..a little rant and rave. tootles

Man I have got to get back into the groove of posting on here! I guess now with Facebook and everyone being on there I have forgotten about Blogger! I am sorry Blogger....you are awesome! haha. Anyways! I decided to update the page and jazz it up and I will try my best to start posting more....not that I really have anything exciting to post about but oh well! Let me start off by saying how THRILLED I am that fall is near! I am so over this hot and muggy summer and I am so excited for fall and the holidays! Its kinda scary how fast this year has gone by..but in a way I am glad because I only have 1 year of school left and some things that I am glad to be over are over! This month marks 1 year since I started at Sport Clips and I can't believe its gone by so fast! I am glad I am still there though because for once I finally love what I am doing! I am soooo glad I don't work at a full service salon anymore and don't have to deal with women! hahaha. Being at Sport Clips and being back in school has made me determined to open my own Barber Shop one day! Not any time soon...but hopefully in a few years. Its crazy though because I am already thinking of ideas for a shop, themes, names, services....everything! I guess its not a bad thing, but I also don't want to get my hopes up!
Myles is continuing to gget ELiTE Techs growing and I think things have been going pretty good! The store looks awesome and hopefully it will continue to get more and more business! He also recently bought a dirt bike which in turn has made me want one..but first I have to learn to ride one! haha. He makes it looks so easy when he rides on it...but me riding would be a different story....but we shall see!
Bruski continues to grow and grow!! He is almost 10 months old and weighs about 70lbs! He is such a sweet guy....but man does he have some energy!! I can't believe how fast he has grown...but he is so smart! And to think...for the last 2 years I have been bugging Myles about getting a dog and he didn't want one.......but now he wouldn't know what to do if Bru wasn't here.

Oh man....So I feel like I am going to start having to use this blog thing for a stress reliever! I am starting to get worried and stressed with class and school in general. My school NMT has merged with 3 other schools and EVERYTHING has been a chaotic mess! The worst part is is that the school isn't really doing their part on making this a smooth transition for the students. I had to get a new everything and its hard to do something a different way when for the last year I have mastered doing it the original way. And the worst part about all this is that I liked NMT because it was a smaller school and now its going to be more crowded which is going to make classes fill up faster and a lot of teachers I use to have won't be at this location anymore. Basically I feel like I am starting another school all over again! The current class I am taking is getting more and more confusing by the day and its so bad and vague that I don't even know where to start on my assignements! And I only have like 3 weeks left and I am so worried I am going to screw up my great GPA that I have right now because this teacher is just being so nonchalant about the assignments. I REALLY hope that I will be done by this time next year.....and hopefully this transition won't slow me down. But the other crappy part is that when I first started NMT I was suppose to be getting my Degree weeellll they have had me down as diploma this whole time so I have to go in sometime this week or next to re-test and I found out that 2 of my classes I have already taken wont apply!!! GRR! Anyways...I am hoping I can just keep my composure and do the best I can and hopefully things will get a littler easier.

And while I am venting I will just go ahead and say that I am SO ready to move! The HOA recently put boulders..yes BIG UGLY BOULDERS across the street in the grass so no one can park on it now!! I swear these people are nazis!! I am so ready to have a house with room and yard and a much bigger garage!

Basically I would love to get a nice weekend vacation!!...oh wait I work weekends. Ugh...it would be nice to just go camping or something and get away even though its only temporary...atleast it would be worth it!

WOW it has been forever since I have updated this bad boy...so looks like I am way over due! Things are going well! I am still attending school and working at the barber shop and Myles's store is up and running! Bruski is 8 months old now and ball-less and weighs 65lbs! He is such a big guy and has more energy than ever!! I will work on posting more frequently and get some pictures up as well!!

I got a couple more new pictures at the store....not much has changed except they have the coming soon signs up, knocked down another wall, and are working on the ceiling and lights. They seem to be having an issue on what color to paint the walls. Myles had said something about tan...but thats basically what the store was before and it just seems kinda drab for them. I suggest green (like the fire dog green) or a deep yellow.....but I like the green the best..plus its on their postcards and brochures, I just think it would really help the store to stand out, but thats just my opinion! Anywho here are a couple pics!

Sooooo I had to take my midterm last week for my English 191 class......annnnddd........ I MADE A 100!!!! Only two people got a 100 and I was one of them!!!! ahhhh!! I was soooo excited!! I have never done that well on an exam/midterm before!! Anywho....I just wanted to toot my horn for minute.....thank you for your understand! :)

Last night when Myles got done doing some work at his store we decided to go out and get a couple drinks. What we have started to do now is leave Bru in his crate in the kitchen instead of letting him run around in the kitchen and peeing and pooping everywhere. We have been leaving him in the crate for a couple days now and he has been doing great! We take him out before we put him in and let him out when we get home and he hasn't pottied in the crate not once! Well Myles texted me when he was close and just told me to come outside and jump in the car so we could go. So I took Bru out and then put him in his cage and then I left.
Me and Myles decided to go up to Keegans for a few beers and we were gone for probably about 2 hours. We get home and walk in the door......Bru isn't in his cage. What the heck???? how did the little booger get out??? So we start walking through the house....and of course he pooped in the living room and then we walk in the bedroom and he had gotten into the trash can in the bathroom and scattered trash all in the bathroom and bedroom!!! AHHH!!!! So then of course we start calling for him and he is no where to be seen. ( He has gotten to the point now that he can tell in our voices if he is in trouble so if we start to call his name he wont come...little booger) So I start walking around and still cant find him...finally I walk back in the bedroom and walk around to the otherside of the bed.....I notice a little black tail sticking out from under the bed. So of course he got in trouble but I thought it was kind of funny cause he must have had a good ole time while we were gone!

Plus its so hard to stay mad at that cute face!!!!!

Well as most of you know Myles is starting a business with his buddy Chris and they FINALLY got the keys to their store yesterday! YAY! I went by to check it out when I got out of school and Myles had told me they already began the remodeling themselves....(uh oh!) So when I arrived I expected sheet rock to be everywhere and walls would be torn down.........AND I WAS RIGHT! haha here are some shots of the store as of now and I will be sure to keep track of it as the store progresses.

So then while I was still there...they decided that another wall needed to come down! (I wasnt able to get any good action shots!)

Finally here a couple shots of them peeling off wallpaper!! haha have fun with that!!

So it will surely be interesting to see how things come along!

Superbowl Sunday!!!

Ok so I know I am a little late in posting this but I just got all the pictures from sunday uploaded...and there were a ton of them!! We had a great turn out for our superbowl party and I think this was the funniest year yet! We had about 18 people over and people were coming and going. The day started out nice outside and then when night hit it got a little chilly...but thats why we started playing beer pong!! I did make a little mistake though....and that was telling MYLES to make sure lots of pictures are taken....heres a few to give you an idea of the craziness!

Bru Update!

So of course I love taking pictures of my little man and I just thought I would post up some recent pictures! We have only had him home for a week and a half now but it feels like he has been here so much longer! he is a little over 7 weeks now but he is getting bigger! Unfortunately he is starting to get a little dandruff.....I dont know why but I think we might have to swtich food and get some special shampoo....hopefully it'll go away soon though!!! anywho!....here's the little gentleman!....

FINALLY! Here are some pictures of our sweet boy Bru! (full name is Bruski! hehehe) He is a dark chocolate brown lab and is 6weeks and 2 days old! Its amazing how smart and playful he is at soooo young! The first night was a rough one but now he is starting to get use to his new home and lastnight he only woke up 2 times! He is getting use to the "going outside" routine and pretty much just plays and sleep! What a great life!! Me and Myles love him very much and we are so happy we got him!! Its going to be fun to watch him grow....but I wish he would stay this small cause he is just too sweet!

hahaha ok its not as bad as it sounds but its actually kinda funny! So yesterday was my first day back in school and unfortunately my classes this quarter are until about 4pm. So on the way to school yesterday I heard that SouthSide Steve was going to be at Brandsmart in Kennesaw from 4-8 giving away Monster Jam tickets, so I wanted to go since we weren't able to buy any. So I call my friend Charisse and tell her to meet me there (this girl wins everything so I figured she would be the good luck charm!) at 4 so we would have a good chance! So I get out of school and hit 75s and BAM! bumper to bumper traffic!! It was right and 4 and going south so I didn't think traffic would be like this, but too avoid most of it I decided to get off at Wade Green and take backroads down to Chastain. So Im trucking along and get off the Wade Green exit and Im tring to take a right and then I have to immidiately get over all the way to the left for the road I need to take...well in the jeep this is a hard manuver cause the jeep donest really gun-it and I have to try to get over fast so I dont get hit! So I finally see a chance and I take it...so Im tryin to scoot all the way over in the far left lane as I can get so I dont get hit and then C R U N C H! I rolled into a lowrider truck in front of me..
Obviously a truck thats draggin on the ground is going to be hard for me to see in a jacked u jeep so when I heard this noise I couldnt help but think I was parked on top of the bed of this truck. So I get out and theres no major damage but my bumper busted out his taillight. The guy gets out and his mexican so I say "Im sorry about that, its hard for me to see low cars do you want to pull off too the side?" the guy nods and we head for the CVS lot. (Im still in a rush at this time and this is setting me back so Im hopin we can get this settled without a report or some big scense) So we get to the lot and I appologize again and the guy says its no big deal so I just say "How about I just give you $40 now and we call it a deal because there is no need to a report or insurance claim and you can pick a new taillight up at autozone" (the truck was an old toyota so I knew for a fact he could just go pick one up) So I go get my money and give it too the guy. Then the passenger gets out and starts telling me how awesome my jeep is and the guys want to start talkking about the jeep and looking at it. So I was like "Sorry again guys, but I have to run....have a good one!" and I was off! hahaha. Thank god it was those guys and no one else otherwise it probably would have been a big ordeal! hahah

WOW! I can't believe its 2009 already! In some ways Im glad because I always look forward to a new year with new adventures and new good times to be had! 2008 definitely ended in the best way! Christmas at the Foley house was a lot of fun and its just nice to be around great people, watch the kiddos, and play some beer pong!! hehe. I have pictures that I should put up but Im being lazy right now! I got great gifts from everyone I know this year and I can't thank everyone enough! I honestly love giving presents more than getting them and hopefully everyone I got presents for enjoys them! New years was also wonderful. We spent 4 great days in the mountains of blue ridge and brought in the new year with good friends. Those days went by WAY to fast but it made for good memories and a nice little vacation before going back to work and starting school again this week. I can't lie though..it took a lot for me to take down the Christmas decorations yesterday.......I dont want Christmas to be over just yet!!! It just went by too fast!
I have some pictures from New Years I will have to post, BUT Myles broke my camera (as much as he says he didn't have anything to do with it!) so I only got pictures from 2 nights we were there. But it was very eventful! Everything from Hank flipping his Trooper too Myles having gas that was so bad it cleared 6 people out of a cabin. haha. More to come so stay tuned!

The worst thing is having to wait on the results of something and lately for me that thing has been waiting for my final grades for my Fall quarter!! Well they FINALLY posted them today...and......

I GOT ALL A'S !!!!!!!

I am soooooooooooo happy and so relieved!! I really worked my butt off and tried to stay focused and organized and it really paid off!! I know its only my first quarter back at school and this may be the only time I get all A's but Im soaking it up!!! But hopefully I can keep it up!! I must say I am very proud of myself because I know I am determined and driven to do good in school. I wonder if they are going to send me a bumper sticker that says I am on the A Honor Roll at North Metro Tech???? hahaha that would be halarious! OR one for Myles that says "My Honor Roll Girlfriend can kick your girlfriends butt!!" hehehehe.

4 Christmases and its still 60 degrees out??

Last night me and myles went to go see 4 Christmases and it was awesome!! I think it is a lot funnier than they make it look on the commercials. So everyone needs to go see it! I will totally go see it again so if anyone wants to go just let me know!! Vince Vaughn cracks me up!!!
ALSO, is it weird to anyone else that Christmas is next week and its still 60 DEGREES outside???? How un-christmasy is that! My dad lives in Nevada and I talked to him yesterday and he said it was 32 degrees outside and had been snowing since 8oclock yesterday morning!!! Check THIS out!....Im uber jealous!...

Friday is officially my last day of my 1st quarter back at school! PHEW! I have my final exams this Thursday and Friday and then I get to enjoy a nice 3 weeks off til next quarter starts!! YAY! I have made myself a hermit the last 2 weeks because I have been wanting to stay on top of my work and not fall behind and get stressed right before finals and it has paid off!! As of now I am making all A's and hopefully I will do good on my exams!! WOOHOO! Then I get to enjoy the holidays school-free. It's definietly a juggling act with school and work but I have made it balance out which is nice....I must say I am proud of myself! hehehe So now I just have to worry about getting my Christmas shopping done and fight the mob! Me and Melissa are going shopping tomorrow all day at the outlets off 400 so hopefully I can knock everything out! AND OF COURSE we have been planning to do this for a month...and the ONE day we are going....we are suppose to have 90% chance of rain ALLLLLL DAY! but that won't stop us! hahaha

ok so the other day me and myles got into this discussion about couples..and when you refer to them by name....does it matter whos name goes first?? Myles says the man's name ALWAYS go first....well I say it doesn't matter, you can say the women's name first! He said "No, its the man first...for example....Coleman and Judy Foley is correct...not Judy and Coleman Foley, as well as Travis and Lyndsay Hall and Jeff and Ashleigh Culp". STILL I said I dont think it should matter but he said it sounds better, hence I went ahead and change it too "Myles and Kali" (whatever makes him feel better and manly manish)....but I still think my name sounds better first!!! hehehe. PLUS, I told him that all his examples were MARRIED couples...so THAT I can understand more when using the guy's name first....but we aren't married....soooo I can say it how ever I want! hm! plus K comes before M in the alphabet so I have rights! hahaha.

What a great Thanksgiving!

The last few days have made for an AWESOME Thanksgiving holiday! Of course it all start on Thanksgiving day at the Foley house with the anticipation of eating,eating, and eating some more! We got over there in the morning (but the last ones as usual!) and everyone was already there. Coleman, Judy, Lee (Coleman's sister), The Culps and and all 3 kiddos and of course the Halls and big man Coop! Pretty much I was looking forward to eating for the last few days so of course when we walked in the smells were already hitting me! Well there was still a little while before the food was all ready so Coleman, Lee, Myles, Jeff and the boys went to the park and did some hiking and playing. The Halls ran home to let Coop take a siesta. and Me, Judy, Ashleigh and Lyla stayed at the house looking at coupons, chatting and sampling the goods!! hehe. Finally eating time came around and by this time everyone was foaming at the mouth with hunger and we all sat side by side at the table and ate and ate and ate! We drank some delicious wine and me personally, I couldnt get enough of the green jello stuff...mmmmm mmmmm. It was truly the best meal Ive had this year!!! hehehe. Thanks chef Judy!!
Then aferwards we went outside (cause it was freakishly warm!) and played bean bag toss and some good ole beer bong! All in all it was a great thanksgiving day!......oh and then we played some yahtzee and of course ate some more!!!
The next day I had to work in the morning and Myles was off so he went to play golf. When I got off me and myles packed up and went and visited my mom and sister in Helen. We made pretty good timing and got up there around 6ish and met my mom,sis, and her friend at Big Daddys. So me and myles get up there first and go ahead and grab a table, myles went to the bathroom and when we got out we sat down and looked over the menu. So minutes go by and Myles goes "Um I dont know where my phone is". (oh lord) So I asked if he left it in the Jeep and he said he thinks he left it in the bathroom. He goes and looks....nothing...then he goes and looks in the Jeep....nothing. By now my mom and them arrive and we start explain that myles cant find his phone. So we call the waitress over and asked if anyone has turned it in...she said no. So then we send her on a mission to scope out the other tables to see if she sees it. So pretty much we are spying on everyone in the resturant and we never find it...so we come to the conclusion that Myles left it in the bathroom and someone ganked it.
So we continue our night and go walk around downtown helen and stop in a few places and chat with some weird german folks and have a few Paulners. All in all and pretty good first night...except for myles phone. So the next morning Myles calls and reports his phone stolen, shuts off his service, and order another phone. So around noon time we get ready to go back into and go watch the GA vs. GA Tech Game. Right when we are getting ready to leave..myles tells me he has to tell me something. .........he found his phone. IT WAS IN HIS BAG! hahaha. So then he had to call and cancel everything and turn his service back on....haha.
So the rest of the weekend was good, just hanging out and relaxing and playing scategories! We had alot of fun.....nothing beats hanging out in a cabin for the weekend anyways.....except when you find the biggest spider ever in the bathroom! (i swear it was as big as my hand!!!!)...... So now its back to work and school.....woohoo!

THE TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA!!!! hehe... Last night Lyndsay,Travis,Myles and Myself went and rocked out to the baddest Christmas Music ever! I have never heard of the Trans Siberian Orchestra until Myles brought it too my attention this friday and suggested we go see it. He showed me a video clip on the net and it definitely looked interesting! (esp. with all the lights and fire!) But once we got there and actually started watching it went from interestesting to freaking AWESOME! I definitely want to go see them again next year! Im glad Myles knew about it because apparently they have been around for 10 years and still have never heard them! I am going to download the cd a.s.a.p! Plus Myles said that was the only Christmas music he would actually ENJOY listening too, hah.

Well we have decided to join the blogging world!(Well I decided and dragged Myles into it with me hehe) Basically I will be keeping up with this but Myles will probably make for alot of the interesting stories! haha. I decided to make this blog because I thought it would be fun and I thought it would be cool to see how our lives are growing and changing. As a lot of peopl know Me and Myles have been together for a few years now and I know I can say Myles is my other half, family, and best friend.
Myles has a great family who I love as well, and who are close to to us and are fellow bloggers as well! (His sisters are the ones that made me want to start a blog, their kids are halarious to read about as they get older so I figured they would laugh just as much at stories of their little bro!) His parents are the great Judy and Coleman Foley and his fantastic sisters Lyndsay Hall, and her husband Travis and little man Cooper, and Ashleigh Culp, and her husband Jeff and little guys Brodey and Brock and little lady Lyla!
My family is pretty different from his but I have a great father, Mr. Lloyd aka Padre Carrington, who is the best family a girl can ask for and lives in the best vacation get away in the world...LAS VEGAS! My mother Mitzi,step-father Steve, and little sister(who is growing up way to fast!) Lyndi live in FL, and I have my wonderful and halarious Aunt Tanna and Uncle Greg who reside in Conyers, GA. And then theres Me and Myles who reside here in Kennesaw! WOOHOO! Im still trying to get use to how to use this blog and fix it up so hopefully it looks nice and I will have interesting stories and blogs to come!
